Joe Manganiello and Sofia Vergara Are Getting Divorced

Yet another Hollywood couple is calling it quits over their marriage!

This time, it’s Joe Manganiello and Sofia Vergara: on Wednesday, 19 July, Manganiello filed for divorce from Vergara, just two days after they announced their separation.

Per recently obtained court documents filed at the Los Angeles County Superior Court, the “Magic Mike” actor cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for his break-up from the “Modern Family” star.

A pre-nuptial agreement was also in place, as noted in these documents, meaning that they will each keep their own assets accumulated during their marriage.

Manganiello and Vergara were married for seven years, but a source says that they “have been growing apart for a while now and are taking some distance from each other to contemplate their future.”

In a joint statement made by the couple, they maintained a respectful tone: “​​As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect for our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”
